CONDITION: This lot consists of one album page. There are 4 additional
images of the page, plus 10 close up images of selected stamps.
Mint hinged, except for one stamp unused no gum (Mi 60 I). Condition is mixed; ranging from fine lightly hinged, to decent with heavier hinge remains and light wrinkles, through to faulty with bad wrinkles/creases.
The Michel listed varieties in the the top half of the page are all quite low value varieties, and usually quite obvious, so the close up images feature the more subtle unlisted varieties. (Unlisted when this collection was formed, and in my old Michel catalogue).
Of the stamps featured in the close up images: Mi 63 "broken 8", and Mi 65 "broken K" both have thins, bad on Mi 65, and Mi 61 "broken E" has some corner creases. The remaining stamps in the close ups are generally in decent or fine condition.
Pages may be cut for International mailing. Items are usually listed on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
I am currently selling a large specialised collection of Memel featuring both French and Lithuanian occupation issues; including mint, used, and covers. It was formed in the U.K. by a very knowledgeable philatelist and contains many types and varieties; Some are are featured in the Michel specialised catalogue. Further varieties are identified where the previous owner seems to be making a case that some are re-occurring (constant) varieties, and should be listed by Michel in the future. There is an English version of "Michel Specialized" available, which includes the stamps of Memel.
