Original contemporary painting of a still life with garden roses and an antique Chinese turquoise pot. Framed dimensions 24x24cm, 3.5 cm deep. The painting measures 15x15 cm, approx.6x6 inches. Painted onto a 5mm deep wooded painting panel, hand prepared.  I have set up a dedicated account to sell my artworks now I have more time to paint daily again. The painting will be varnished before being sent to it's new home. I returned to painting in 2013, mostly daily painting in oils on a small scale so I can finish the picture in one sitting (alla prima).  I prepare the mdf panels, wooden or metal panels and canvases myself, with the highest quality artist's materials, and only use the finest oil paints and varnishes to ensure longevity of the works. Most of my paintings are from life, painting direct from the objects arranged in front of my easel, although I do paint outside too (en plein air) and sometimes from photographs, or watercolour sketches I have made. Combined postage at minimal costs is no problem, just let me know !
