A vintage upholstered stool with a compact, sturdy design and attractive rustic character. Ideal as a kitchen stool, occasional seat, bedside stool, or decorative accent piece in a country cottage or farmhouse interior.

Constructed from solid oak, with a warm medium-dark finish highlighting the natural grain throughout. The seat is upholstered in a red leather or leather-effect material and finished with decorative stud detailing around the edge. The simple pegged construction and traditional styling suggest a mid 20th century country style piece, likely originally intended for everyday domestic use. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In well used vintage condition. Showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs, knocks, and finish wear throughout the frame. The seat upholstery has general wear, creasing, and marks from use, along with small splits and wear to the corners. Some minor losses and lifting around the studded trim. The timber frame shows scattered scratches, dents, and areas of finish wear consistent with age and use.

Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing.
