An early {1830's} RIGHT hand only wrought iron rim lock that measures 4-5/8" X 7 inches high and has a keeper that is 1-7/8 inches wide. This lock will fit a door 1-1/8"-1-1/4inches thick unless the spindle is modified or lengthened. These locks are rare and are some of the first made in America. Take note of the 2 different height door knobs and it has a privacy latch on top of the lock that prevents the outside door knob from turning.
