[Used] Epiphone / USA Frontier Natural [1993] Epiphone USA made
A used 1993 American-made EPIPHONE FRONTIER has arrived.
This model was produced in a limited run of 350 units. While the serial number indicates 1993, the label inside the soundhole reads "Limited Edition 1994" and "8 of 350." It's a highly popular model. It features a nut width of approximately 44mm and a long scale length of approximately 648mm. Despite its classic look, it's an easy-to-play guitar.
The body top is solid spruce, and the sides and back are solid maple, resulting in a rich, resonant body. It produces a hard, taut sound with excellent attack and a dense tone.
There are signs of repair and repainting of a crack on the back of the neck near the 2nd to 5th frets. A shim is inserted in the nut for height adjustment. There is a crack in the celluloid part of the neck heel. There is some slight weather checking on the top, and the design on the pickguard is partially worn away.
There are scratches and dents throughout. Some unevenness is visible at the joints between the side and back materials. The tuning pegs have inconsistent operation. The included non-original, older hard case has one broken fastener.
