Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

Please do not buy this cable until you read the listing...

You are looking at harder to come by Cannon 3 pin XLR male UA-3-12 model microphone cable extension adapter from the 1960's. These vintage connectors were commonly used as an extension for the UA-3-11 female connector. The other female UA-3-11 model connector was used on a few Electro Voice microphones such as the 666, 642 and 655C models but as you can clearly see  this is not the UA-3-11 connector.

This connector is NOT used on the Electro Voice 666 microphone. I have sold these in the past to clients who thought that this is the connector for the 666, 655C or 642 model mic and this connector is NOT used on any vintage mic ever made. Again, the UA-3-12 is not the connector used on any of those mics.

The short cable is just 10 inches long and has the quality Switchcraft male XLR end connector. You can use this short cable to get your cables in sync with your audio equipment. I have seen RCA and Electro Voice put UA-3-11 type connectors on the end of their cables so this cable being sold would be ideal to get a standard XLR end connection which is the standard audio input.

Anyways, as you can see this connector is used but in very good condition with very lite wear.   Cable is soft and pliable. Switchraft connector is virtually perfect.

As with all my vintage microphones and stands...
