This Machinist's Practical Guide comes in a compact pocket-sized notebook of 91 pages with a few extra pages for entering your own notes.  It was published in 1950 by the Morse Drill & Machine Co. of New Bedford, MA, and distributed by the Randolph-Potts  Company of Philadelphia, PA.  it is 5-1/4" high, 3-1/4" wide and is spiral bound.  This book belonged to my mechanical engineer father, who always took excellent care of his things, and now has been stored for many years.
