Simply one of the nicest items of vintage Avon jewellery I have come across. These pretty bunches of blue forget-me-not flowers are circa 1960s or 70s and were part of a range that included a brooch and pendant. They are clip-ons and the reverse of the earrings strongly suggests early manufacture so probably more likely 1960s. The flowers are a beautiful colour and have a pale aquamarine crystal at the centre of each bloom - looking just like a tiny drop of morning dew. Forget-me-nots symbolise remembrance and so these earrings could be a gift of great significance. Apparently they are also the 'birth flower' for those born in September.
