Laminated Super Bowl XXV Ticket Stub. The “All New York” Super Bowl with AFC Champion Buffalo Bills vs NFC Champion New York Giants at Tampa Stadium Sunday, January 17, 1991. Memorably the Star Spangled Banner was sung by Whitney Houston. If you haven’t seen the video of this spectacular performance, simply search for “Whitney Houston Super Bowl 25”. The Giants beat the Bills 20-29 in a spectacular Super Bowl. The NY Giants came back from a 12-3 deficit in the to win this game. 

There were many notable Super Bowl firsts in this game. The 1st Super Bowl featuring 2 teams from the same state. The 1st and only Super Bowl decided by one point. 1st Super Bowl where neither team committed a turn over. The Giants also set a Super Bowl record holding possession of the ball for 40 minutes and 33 seconds!

This is the Super Bowl where the victorious Giants star quarterback Phil Simms famously stated in a live TV interview immediately following the game “I’m going to Disney World”. 

This Super Bowl ticket stub does show slight creasing, but is a good example of this landmark Super Bowl. The lamination is ok, but not perfect. I have included pic’s in the sun showing the Tampa Stadium hologram and in light showing the face of card with no hologram.
