No — this is a soft TPU hydrogel film. It's intentionally thin, flexible, and soft — NOT rigid like glass. That's not a defect: hydrogel absorbs bumps without shattering into sharp pieces, and self-heals minor scratches. It applies like a film. If you specifically want rigid glass, this isn't the right product.
Q How strong is the privacy effect?
It's a moderate privacy filter — it dims the screen at an angle so it's harder for people beside you to read, but it does not turn the screen fully black from the side. How strong it looks can vary with brightness and viewing angle. Straight-on, your screen stays clear.
Q Will it affect brightness or colors?
Slightly — the matte finish softens brightness a little and can make colors look a touch cooler. That's normal for any anti-glare matte film. In exchange you get less glare and easier viewing in bright light. Most users find it a fair trade-off.
Q I see small bubbles after installing — is that a problem?
