For your consideration,  iconic postmodern "Dove" desk lamp, designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo for PAF Studio (later known as Italiana Luce) in Milan, Italy, around 1984.
Celebrated for its striking minimalist silhouette that mimics a bird in mid-flight, this piece is a collector's classic and was featured on the cover of the International Design Yearbook in 1985.
The long cantilevered arm tilts up and down smoothly thanks to a hidden counterweight, while the beak-shaped head rotates to direct light.
The weighted cylindrical base allows the entire lamp to rotate completely in a circle.
It is powered by a low-voltage halogen bulb and includes a built-in toggle switch on the base to flip between two light intensity levels.
Constructed from durable black polycarbonate/plastic with slender supporting rods made of molybdenum steel
