This is an antique Victorian blue and white transferware platter in the "Royal Cottage" pattern, produced by Blackhurst & Tunnicliffe, Burslem, Staffordshire circa 1879.
Features a scenic view of the Royal Cottage in Windsor Great Park with a detailed floral border with a distinctive scalloped edge
Made from Staffordshire pottery, known for its durable and decorative transfer-printed designs
Measures 46 cm long and 38 cm wide
In good condition for its age with some marks round the edge and there is also a small crack which I have shown in my last couple of pictures
