An old postcard of the Avenue in Whitwell Herts. Postally used. Great bit of local social history.  Produced locally by A T Robinson of the Post Office at Whitwell. Card is postmarked Whitwell 1906. Small nick on top edge (centre) - see scan.

The card is postally unused. It has a completely blank back so were possible templates. Little bit of writing on the back dating it to July 15th 1907. Nice piece of local and social history. 

 

Please do check the photo as some older postcards do suffer from minor creases, light bumping etc. I will always highlight any significant flaws that can't be seen in the picture.
