Scarce antique Gorham sterling silver souvenir spoon in Nuremburg multi motif pattern created in 1885, typically depicting the costumes of the peasantry at the home of Albert Durer, artist from Nuremberg. This spoon features a very detailed, two sided figural handle of man in costume and having a sword. In the bowl it has acid etched writing KANSAS CITY. It measures 5-3/4 inches long (143 mm), weighs 20.2 grams and in excellent condition. On the back marked STERLING and has maker’s hallmarks (lion anchor G) for Gorham Mfg. Co.
