Up for sale is a remarkably Incredible Collection of 24 Estate sourced, Ornate Forks circa the late 1800s, I cased in a glass fronted display cabinet. This a collection of mid-19th-century flatware, often attributed to the Civil War era, features carbon steel forks with handles crafted from various materials including bone, ebonized hardwood, and occasionally stag antler, decorated with stunning pewter or brass inlay. These utensils typically date from the 1840s to the 1870s and are unmarked but were commonly imported from Sheffield, England, or manufactured by companies like Imperial Cutlery Works. This collection includes a mix of three-tine and four-tine forks, housed in primitive wooden display cabinet with a glassed front hinged door and lock. Fork Measurements vary between 7” and 5” in length, display cabinet measures approx 16” x 13”.

Condition overall is good, some forks are missing their prongs, some are more worn than others (please see detailed pictures for a closer look at condition of the forks). The display cabinet shows ware with scratches and a water mark on the back.
