This package includes TWO ABLOY Protect2 Deadbolts with locking thumb turns, ONE knob lock with communicating dual cylinders. ONE Abloy spacer ring, ONE PL330 Super Weather Proof Padlock, 7 keys (2 emergency and 5 standard). Everything is keyed alike and will include key duplication card, I will facilitate transfer of ownership to new owner. The PL330 lock is also keyed to this system. This system new today would cost $1,200, I'm selling it used for less than half that cost. 

Both deadbolts feature locking thumb turns to secure lock from being operated inside in either locked or unlocked condition. The Emergency Key option allows us to specially key double deadbolts and lockable thumbturn deadbolts to make them better suited for residential or primary door environments.  An emergency key is a special key that will only open the lock from the inside, and not from the outside.   This way an emergency key can be kept near the door and in case of an emergency used to open the door to get out.  As the emergency key will only work from the inside, if it is lost you do not need to worry about someone being able to open your lock from the outside.  Frequently people keep the emergency key in a near by drawer or hanging on a string for easy access. 


Deadbolt #1 Includes Abloy Spacer ring which can be removed if not needed. 

The Abloy Deadbolt Spacer Ring provides additional clearance and allows for the use of Abloy deadbolts on doors that are less than 1 3/4" thick.

The Abloy lockable thumbturn deadbolt is the best solution for many deadbolt installations.  It offers the security of a double deadbolt with the convenience of a normal single cylinder thumbturn deadbolt.  Most high security lock manufacturers try to accomplish this by selling 'captive key' deadbolts.  Captive key deadbolts generally are nothing more than a double sided deadbolt in which a key is left on the inside with a key head that looks like a thumbturn.  The major downside of this is the fact you have a working key sitting in the lock 24/7 which someone could possibly quickly borrow and make a copy of.  The Abloy lockable thumbturn deadbolt is a far more elegant solution, being a true locking thumbturn.  It features a thumbturn on the inside like a single cylinder deadbolt and when it is in normal mode can be turned like a normal thumbturn deadbolt.  You can then use the key to enable 'secure' mode in which it can no longer be turned by hand, completely disabling the inside thumbturn from effecting the deadbolt at all.  This allows it to function like a normal thumbturn when you are at home, but then at night or when you leave the house for an extended period of time, you can enable the secure mode to ensure it cannot be unlocked without the key.   No matter if you have glass next to the door or a window nearby, the lockable thumbturn allows for peace of mind whenever you need it.  The Abloy lockable thumbturn deadbolt has one other unique feature in the high security world in that it has no exposed inside screws.  The screws can only be accessed when the thumbturn is not in secure mode.  When the thumbturn is in secure mode it is impossible to remove the deadbolt from the door no matter where you have access.   This feature along with the locking thumbturn also means that even if a burglar was able to get into your house he would not be able to open the door from the inside making it far harder for them to make off with your property as they would have to go back out the way the entered.

Abloy's PL 330 padlock is a brass body padlock with a case hardened boron steel shackle.  It is a rekeyable padlock that can be rekeyed both at time or order and at a later date if required.  Useful in many standard padlock installs, while the padlock body is brass, the shackle is hardened to resist cutting.  Below are the technical details (exact measurements given in mm):

 

Super Weather Proof

Abloy Super Weather Proof (SWP) addons for most of their padlock line allows for use of Abloy padlocks in any and every environment.   The SWP I option adds o-rings and sealant around shackles to prevent the egress of dirt, dust, and water.  The SWP M option extends the I protection by adding a fully sealed cap over the keyway to prevent dirt, dust, and water from entering into the cylinder.   The SWP M padlock is made to be extremely resistant to dust and water through an o-ring pressure cap for the cylinder.   For your extreme situations the SWP option from Abloy is here for you.    Please note that SWP makes the shackle somewhat harder to remove (due to the tight rings), in addition the M variant has a pressure cap which takes longer to put on or take off).  Abloy cylinders are already some of the most environmentally durable in the world(due to the self cleaning disk detainer system) and SWP is generally only needed in repeated exposure for long periods of time to extreme conditions.
