Pros: My son has used the 29/18 618 USA Solo for over 100+ games and countless BP sessions. The 619 is hotter right out of the wrapper then his well broken in 618 Solo. I was doing fielding practice with him and normally have to hit the ball fairly hard to simulate what he will see in the game. First few hits were rockets coming off the barrel and very very close to his 1.15 618 2-3/4" Solo. We hit his 618 USA back to back with the 619 USA definitely has more exit speed and gained some distance. Actually was out hitting his 1.15 USSSA Solo -10. 29/18 true weight is 19.2oz on the scale. 619 seems better balanced then the 618 and no doubt has a higher exit velocity.

Cons: I changed the grip back to a lizard skin and removed the rubber flaired knob. My son doesnt care for the squishy feel of the taper after a few games. Removing the grip was alot easier then the Lizardskins which leaves that glue tape behind. Stock grip comes off clean.

Pros: Light swing weight, good pop (for a USA bat).

Cons: Mishits can sting the hands, but no more than any other single piece.
