Item Details:
The hat features a classic 6-panel baseball cap style with a black crown, a red visor/brim, and a red top button. It has a large embroidered Lizard/Compass patch on the front, the classic Marlboro Adventure Team logo patch on the right side, and a big bold Marlboro spell-out embroidery across the back. The closure is an adjustable black leather strap with a brass/bronze-tone metal buckle (strapback), making it one size fits most.
Condition Report:
This item is pre-owned and in good vintage condition with honest signs of previous wear consistent with its age. The crown and brim are intact. The hat has a soft, unstructured vintage style. There is mild overall fading and light surface fuzzing to the black cotton fabric, which gives it a great, authentic vintage look. The leather strap is fully functional and in good shape. The brass-tone metal buckle shows some natural vintage patina and tarnishing, which is clearly visible in the close-up photos. On the interior, the inner front panel features a hand-written vintage personalization in Cyrillic script: "Лето 98" (which translates to "Summer 98"), written by a previous owner. This adds a unique piece of personal history and perfectly authenticates its late-90s era. The sweatband shows light normal wear but remains clean and fully functional. There are no major rips, holes, or heavy stains.
