Description: 2008 Lexus IS220d (XE20 - Lexus IS second generation) pre-facelift (2005 -2008)

The Lexus IS 200d is a rear-wheel drive, entry-level luxury compact sedan produced by Lexus for the European market from 2010 to 2013. Introduced as a more efficient and reliable alternative to the problematic IS 220d, it featured a de-tuned 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine built specifically for fuel economy and lower emissions.
It was generally offered in standard configurations as well as the F-Sport trim, which added 18-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and part-leather sports seats.

From my point of view as a collector, this model is well-detailed and features high-quality assembly and paintwork. It accurately and realistically presents its prototype. Last but not least, its overall appearance (up close and even more so on a display shelf) is above any reasonable expectations for a model from this price segment.
