The bowl of each spoon shows an elaborate illustration in relief of the subject Building located at the 1939 World’s Fair and the name of each Building.

From what I can tell, there were probably 12 different of these 1939 World’s Fair Collectible Spoons produced.

These Spoons were mailed to the Grandparents of My Client’s late wife in the 5 paperboard boxes shown in the pictures with a number printed at the end of each box. Each spoon was wrapped in the paper shown in the pictures with the International Silver Guarantee and Guarantee Certificate from the Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. of Meriden, Conn. which states it is Original Rogers Silverplate. Obviously there are 4 of the original boxes missing.

The 9 Silverplate 1939 World’s Fair Silverplate Collector Spoons are in excellent vintage condition. Each spoon has been polished but could be professionally polished to give each a deeper shine.

The 5 Paperboard Boxes have darkened with age. The bottom of one of the boxes is detached. There are some stains on these boxes. The wrapping paper is torn and wrinkled.

Please view the accompanying pictures. These pictures are part of the description and condition of these 1939 New York World's Fair 9 Silverplate Spoons and 5 Original Boxes with Wrapping Papers.
