This is in great antique condition, see photos. There are some manufacturing flaws, ie: tiny air bubbles, a scratch on the dome lid under the handle. There is minor etching on bottom of plate from usage and shelf storage. The gold flashing has slight wear, no chips or cracks present, this is in need of a good cleaning. I will leave that to the new owner. This was my great grandmothers, one of her favorite patterns, it is an original true antique circa 1899-1909. It has been our family for its entire life.

This item is an antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) domed lid butter dish specifically in the "Newport" pattern, also commonly known as "Bull's Eye and Daisy".
