Pair of antique Chinese Canton Famille Rose Thousand Butterfly Porcelain plates, unmarked, indicating they were likely made between 1860 - 1880 (Qing Dynasty).

Slightly over 9.5" in diameter, these dinner sized plates show vibrant figural scenes.

Both plates are in exceptional antique condition - some slight fading of gold pain on rim on one plate (See photos for details). The over-glaze enamel painting remains incredibly vibrant and the butterfly border retains a high degree of their original gold gilt highlights. No chips or cracks, repairs or hairline fractures. Both plates have smooth rims and clean, unmarked backs characteristic of pre-1891 export ware.

Pair will be wrapped with professional care and shipped fully insured.
