DESCRIPTION: This fabric is a plain Handloom Silk Dupion which we also call Raw Silk Dupion. The width is 54”/137 cms and the length 0.50 MT. 

Please note that this length is related to the unit price and not that we offer half metre pieces. The silk is cut off a roll. Therefore, if you would like for example 1.5 metres you would need to put 3 in the quantity box.

The weight of the silk is approximately 120 grams per linear metre. Indian Dupion silk yarn has been used in the weft to give it slubby texture. This fabric is 100% silk and of a nice quality.

USES: It is suitable for making up cushion covers, soft furnishings, clothing and crafts. We do not recommend this fabric for upholstery unless it is more of a showpiece and does not have a lot of usage.

PACKAGING: The silk will be sent flat packed unless the client wants it specifically rolled on a tube. In that case please check regarding delivery cost.

CARE: We recommend dry cleaning.

IF MORE THAN ONE UNIT IS BOUGHT IT WILL BE SENT AS CONTINUOUS FABRIC AND NOT AS CUT HALF METRE PIECES.
