Canon chose an unusual 32mm focal length, giving the camera a slightly wider-than-normal field of view. The fixed focus is set from 5 feet to infinity.

Automatic exposure with shutter speeds ranging from 1/60s to 1/250s

Exposure is controlled by a CdS meter, and film speed is automatically set to ISO 100, 200, or 400 via DX coding on the film canister. Only negative film is recommended — not slide film

Integrated auto-flash with red-eye reduction (Guide Number: 9m at ISO 100, recycles in approximately 5 seconds).

The flash fires automatically, but you can also manually turn it on or off for total control over exposure

Flash operates from 1.5–2 meters at ISO 100 and 1.5–3 meters at ISO 400. Red-eye reduction activates by holding the shutter halfway until a green indicator light appears in the viewfinder

Film advance and rewind are fully automatic, powered by internal motors.

A mid-roll rewind button is included so you don't have to finish an entire roll before rewinding

A small film window on the back lets you check whether film is loaded

Powered by two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Dimensions: 125 × 70 × 47 mm, weighing 205g without batteries.
