LARGE Vintage Bethany Lowe CAT ON MOON Hallow's Eve HALLOWEEN Paper Mache Hanging Decor

A RARE BETHANY LOWE DESIGN- this piece is discontinued and very hard to find, especially in such amazing condition. Very collectible. Circa early 2000's. 

This marvelous and whimsical piece is from Bethany Lowe Studios and is HANDMADE/HAND PAINTED [no two are exactly alike]. Thick paper-mache which is very sturdy and beautifully made 

Features a charming 3-dimensional classic CRESCENT MOON with a friendly grin, and a black cat with green eyes balancing inside of his arch

All one piece

Cat is covered with jet black finely ground sparkle powder which glimmers and shines from all angles 

Details are beautifully molded [dimensional] and quite lifelike

This is a double sided image, with each side being slightly different. It can be hung facing either way as a wall hanging or suspended from a ceiling or chandelier etc - it's fully finished on all sides, top and bottom as well

This piece is deliberately created in an Antique inspired style, referencing Halloween artwork and cards circa the late 1800s and early 1900s. 

The painted finish on the moon has been ANTIQUED in a gentle crackle finish to give the appearance of age. This is not damage, he was created this way. Some crackles are deeper than others which adds to the charm.  

Excellent condition, absolutely beautiful. One miniscule rub mark on the moon's paint towards the back, so minor it's hard to notice and the paint is NOT rubbed off in this spot. See last pic, incredibly minor. No nicks, chips, dents, damage, or repair. No flaking or loose paint. Has a built-in heavy rounded metal loop attached at the tip of the moon with an adjustable clear looped handle/hook. Ready to hang, and the clear line can be knotted or adjusted as to height.  

Would be magnificent in an Autumn/Halloween display. Lots of possibilities- could also go on a mantle or as a centerpiece on a table. 

He is a Classic that would be a delight to bring out year after year. Made to last a lifetime
