Here is a gorgeous turn-of-the-century antique 3-footed rose bowl vase. It may also have been a hair receiver, a common feature found on a Victorian lady's dressing table. It could also be used as a trinkets dish or simply as a lovely piece of art decor. The backstamp with a crown above "Vienna Austria" dates the piece to the late 19th / early 20th century. The vase is beautifully hand-painted with the artist's signature on the bottom. The glossy finish highlights the vivid colors of the cabbage roses. It is finished with gold trim on the rim, and 3 gold feet on the base. There is minor loss to the gold (see photos), but overall this is an exquisite piece. It measures approx. 4.25" tall and 5" in diameter. The opening measures 2.25" in diameter.
