Since May 2012 I have usually owned a Renault Scenic. Launched nearly 30 years ago in November 1996 it was the first ever MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) in Europe. It became the benchmark and was based on the Megane. Production eventually ceased in 2022, only to be reinvented as the Renault Scenic E-Tech in 2024. From 2012 until now I have worked my way through just about every incarnation. From petrol to diesel, manual to automatic and even 2WD to 4WD including faux 4WD in the form of the Mark 2 Conquest and Mark 3 X-Mod which I still retain I only obtained this recently (April this year) but the advanced features detract from the purity of the concept.Very low mileage at approx 57,000 and a smaller engine than the X-MOD 1.5 Vs 1.6. Produces 57 mpg against the X-MOD's north of 60.

Second time I've been asked about cam belt change and this was my response last time :
The cambelt (timing belt) on a Renault Scenic 1.5 dCi should generally be replaced every 6 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, though many specialists advise sooner (around 80,000 miles) to prevent failure. It is highly recommended to replace the water pump, tensioners, and idlers at the same time.
So under the mileage but over the age. No history and presumably wouldn't be on a regular service as low mileag
Get you home tax and fuel (if within 40 miles).

Throwing it open now so will see all offers and ignore, accept, counter, or block accordingly. Hopefully will see location and collection would be required within the standard four days.
