This sale is for vintage Slahal Native American stick game. Each of the pieces, which measure about 5 1/2 inches in length, are made from wood as pictured. Slahal is a  very interesting game and part of the cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest. The game can last hours or even days sometimes and can involve music-dancing and  gambling.  This item came from an estate of a man who was widely traveled around the world. This game is very unique as it is contained in a section of leather as pictured. The leather, which shows use with some staining, measures about 20 inches in length and 12 inches in width. There 7 groups of 4 marked sticks and one plain stick. This is a unique cultural artifact from Native American history. Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns.
