Vintage 1949 Icarus Winged Male Nude Framed Art Print / Photograph – Art Deco Mythology Style

Beautiful vintage framed art piece featuring a classical winged male nude figure, likely representing Icarus or a mythological/aviation-inspired figure. The figure is shown with outstretched feathered wings, standing on a globe or sphere against a dark dramatic background. It has a striking Art Deco / neoclassical look and displays beautifully.

The back has its original age-darkened paper backing and old hanging wire. It also has a faded “Copyrighted” stamp that appears to reference Niles, Illinois, along with handwritten markings. One handwritten date appears to read “11/10/49,” and another pencil marking appears to read “21648 G-2” or similar. These markings are shown in the photos.
