Vintage hardcover copy of Parker: America's Finest Shotgun by Peter H. Johnson. Illustrated with dust jacket. Personally signed by the author with a lengthy inscription to a Vicksburg, Mississippi physician. In the inscription, Johnson references that both men are Vicksburgers. Also appears to include a handwritten correction by Johnson to his birth date on the rear dust jacket flap. 

The book is considered one of the foundational works on Parker shotguns and helped spark collector interest in Parker firearms. This copy is signed by the author in 1976. Copyright date shows 1961.

This example is enhanced by a substantial personal inscription from Johnson to a physician from his hometown of Vicksburg, Mississippi, mentioning their shared Vicksburg roots. The book also appears to contain an additional author notation on the back dust jacket correcting his birth date.
