Rare Teleflex-Syneravia Vintage Aircraft & Helicopters Windshield Wiper Assembly Unit which are Manufactured in France during the late 1960s and updated in the late 1970s. It is being sold As-Found / Untested for parts, restoration, or aviation collection display. Check All Photos please.

Systems LIKE this were heavily utilized in European-designed vintage aircraft and helicopters, like the Aérospatiale Alouette III helicopter, the Sud Aviation Caravelle airliner, and early prototypes of the Nord 262 twin-turboprop. Commonly referenced in parts catalogs for vintage Aérospatiale helicopters (Puma, Gazelle, Alouette) and classic French aircraft (Caravelle, Falcon, Transall).

*** WHAT'S INCLUDED*** This mechanical assembly consists of 3 connected components. Using the 1st gallery photo as a guide which shows the electric drive motor, the flexible drive cable and the converter/reduction gearbox head. 

* Converter / Reduction Gearbox Head (Left): Black Teleflex-Syneravia housing (Type 10, Ref 10 76 87 110A) with a splined output shaft. Reverse side features a February 1967 (2-67) factory inspection stamp. Serial # 1155.

* Flexible Drive Cable / Transmission Shaft (Center): Measures approximately 16.5 inches. Original foil tag is present showing Part # TF 5A 520 with a matching February 1967 factory stamp.

* Electric Drive Motor (Right): Manufactured by Artus (Type 10DRC1, 27V DC, 100W, 10,000 RPM). Upper tracking plate applied by Teleflex-Syneravia (Rungis, France) indicates a September 1979 (09 79) workshop overhaul integration date. P/N 4011287, Serial # 6022.

Cosmetic/Structural Wear: The assembly shows typical age, dust, light surface oxidation, and vintage wear.

Cable Sheath Damage: The outer greenish-yellow vinyl protective coating on the flexible drive cable is brittle, cracked, and MAYBE peeling away in sections, exposing the inner metal coiled conduit armor (see photos).

Hardware: Safety wiring and original factory markings/inspection stamps are largely intact on the hardware and identification plates. Please view the photos for details, applicable measurements & part of description.
