Rare Forstner Designer Signed 12K Gold Filled Figural Snake Wrap Bracelet 1940's

This 1940s gold-fill snake bracelet by Forstner has a finely detailed head and a body that tapers to the tail. Forstner Chain Corporation was renowned for its flexible spiral bracelets, and this one is a fine example, retaining the crisp, sharp detail with which it was created. This exact design was advertised in the December 1947 issue of Vogue (with a list price of $10!) Imminently versatile, this classic piece will never go out of style, and may be worn with anything from casual clothing to formal wear.

CONDITION: This piece shows patina on the gold  coils I have not polished this for some time and will leave it as is for the buyer to decide how they would like it to look. the coils are nice and tight and secure. It is a lovely vintage piece from the late 1940's
