2018 Jaguar F-Pace S — AWD 3.0L Supercharged V6 (AJ126)

COMPLETE VEHICLE ~ Not For Parting Out


Non-running. Known plastic Y-pipe / coolant crossover pipe failure (Jaguar TSB JTB00566NAS4). This is a well-documented common issue on the AJ126 engine. Vehicle shut down via automatic engine protection mode (not driven while overheating!).


DIAGNOSIS COMPLETED:

- Compression test performed: about 30 PSI across all cylinders.

- Engine cranks & turns over manually (not seized!).

- Supercharger already removed (saves $500+ in labor + direct access to heads)!

- Oil and coolant drained.


WHAT IT NEEDS:

- Head gaskets and head resurfacing at minimum.

- Possible bore work depending on further inspection.

- All rubber seals should be replaced (vehicle has been sitting).

- Metal Y-pipe upgrade (aluminum replacement kits available $100-$200, eliminates the plastic failure permanently!).
