Magnificent. Sydney Berman Brooch. 1940's
This is the one, Berman's highly collectible signature floral bouquet incorporating mixed materials such as dynamic givre glass, vivid rhinestones, and multi-colored faceted crystals. Authentic: Stamped 1-20 12K SB. This pendent shows beautiful patina just like it should. The brooch is 4" long and 3" wide and weighs 1.29 ounces. Oh, and it's beautiful and very very rare.

Founded in New York City in 1928, Sydney Berman & Co. became highly sought after for producing both high-end fine jewelry and exceptionally crafted costume pieces. During World War II, when base metals were heavily rationed, Berman and his goldsmiths famously layered thick 12K or 14K gold washes over solid sterling silver (a technique known as vermeil) to create statement pieces that perfectly captured the glamorous, bold look of the era.

It's large and beautiful! Collectors: Oh yeah!
