This is a special version of Knuckles' Chaotix that has been altered with a new playable character "Sonic the Hedgehog".

Bonus Feature:

Level select has been enabled.  At the main screen, pick "Stage

Select" and press Start.  You can pick any level, any 

time (morning, night, etc.), any character (including Sonic), any partner, and 1 or 2 players. 

In this game Mighty the Armadillo has been replaced with Sonic the Hedgehog. The Special stage sprites were replaced with Sonic CD sprites and in level sprites were ripped from Sonic Crackers, and a few of the sprites were drawn from scratch. - JJFTails
