There are two ways to encounter the Large Cavern in Stalagbite! It may be used as a new starting tile for 5-6 Players or you may encounter the cavern randomly as you explore. In either case, the Large Cavern counts as 1 of the maximum 5 caverns in the game.

This expansion introduces the Volcano God idol, an obstacle, which takes 2 Damage to destroy (gain 1 Glory). 

Whenever you gain or gather treasure in a Lava space (Cavern, Cave, Chamber, Passage or Corridor), you must defend against 1 Damage. If 1 or more Volcano God idols are present, Fiery increases to 2 and you defend against 2 Damage.
