 You are looking at a very rare early gooseneck with a flange & bracket that was used to mount to any flat surface allowing it's user to use an older screw on type mic. These items were ideal for a podium or table.

 I have to be honest that I do not know the manufacturer of this item as there are no clear markings but the design and materials are that of a very old design. I'm going to assume this is certainly pre 1950's. Most likely 1940's or earlier.

 The bracket is cast iron and has a beautiful deco design. The actual gooseneck is made of brass which indicates a very early design. The only part that seems to be newer or a replacement part would be the thumb screw on the bottom of the bracket as the original was either broken or lost years ago.

 This is a quality construction piece. I have never seen this design before so it's a rare item indeed.

 The actual gooseneck is appx 13 inches long. Very flexible yet rigid and looks amazing as seen in the pics provided. It has an entry hole at the top to run a cable through the gooseneck. It also has the standard 5/8 X 27 threading for nay mic clip or screw on mic you choose to mount on this. Great for extra height or reach in any direction with your mic as well. 

 The cast iron bracket / flange is in excellent condition and built like a tank. No way to destroy it. The thumb screw will allow you to mount this set up to any flat surface of between 1 3/4 inches thick to 3/5 inches thick.

 I'd rate it an honest 8 + on a scale of 1 - 10.

 If you need something truly unique for that special mic of yours then this will certainly do.
