How to Break a Chain

1. Insert the part of the chain to be broken into the slot of the adjustable anvil holder;

2. Tighten the adjusting knob until the chain is firmly seated;

3. Place the rivet head directly under the punch and pull down on the handle just enough to push the rivet out (do not overforce).
