Vintage Wired Wrapped Victorian West Germany? Possible antique Christmas Cherub Glass Ornament Hot Air Balloon Pink

Beautiful, hand blown glass, unsilvered. Painted hot pink, wire wrapped, originally from Germany. Paper embellished with a cherub golden hair, red lips, holding two bouquets of flowers, and a pink shroud. This paper  cherub has golden wings. * No cap on ornament. Stamped on bottom with a Blue D. Ornament stands approximately 5 and 3/4 in tall, top balloon is approximately 2 and 1/2 in wide. Due to age, wire is fragile, and there is missing paint from wear. This is likely an antique made in the late 1890's. Beautiful piece of history, cherished Christmas ornaments from ancestors. Estate sale find.
