The Dan are a West African people mainly present in the center-west of Côte d'Ivoire, near the towns of Man, Danané, Biankouma, Zouan-Hounien, Sipilou, Sanguiné. A few communities also live across the border in northeastern Liberia, in Nimba County, near Tappita District.
