Up for sale is an excellent 1951 wool military issue pile cap, first issued towards the end of WWII, and then used extensively during Korea, these hats were highly sought after by anyone who could get their hands on them for the frigid winters of the Korean war. This one has been taken care of in a collection, fully wearable and very warm. No holes or heavy staining aside from a couple small spots on the inside of the brim (see pics). Alpaca fur lining is in excellent condition, outter poplin cotton shell is in excellent shape, no stains or holes, fully functional and ready for use or put into a collection display.
