Thisnis an amazing Chinese late Yuan early Ming dynasty Bronze Hu shaped pear vase. It is between 500 and 700 years old and considering its age it has held up quite nicely. It has a casting flaw that might look like a crack, but it was made like this originally. This occurs when the mold does not evenly heated and the metal cools a little bit faster than one area than the other, so it causes an inclusion. There’s one tiny dent at the base as well. Otherwise, it is near perfect for its age. This is guaranteed genuine, most likely early Ming dynasty, but possibly could be a little bit earlier than that.
