The C. J. Box HIGHWAY QUARTET Books 1-4 are a series of books written by C.J. Box and published by St. Martin's Press.

The Highway Quartet is a four-book crime series by C.J. Box, featuring investigator Cassie Dewell and her partner Cody Hoyt, set in Montana and North Dakota, and focusing on a serial killer known as the "Lizard King". 

The books, which form the basis for the TV show Big Sky, are Back of Beyond, The Highway, Badlands, and Paradise Valley.

This book series is a must-read for any fan of the Joe Pickett series by this same author.
