This is a scarce, PSA 6 EX-MT, 1951 Parkhurst #80 Rookie Card of legendary longtime Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman, known especially for his physical play and exceptional bodychecking skills, 6-time NHL All-Star, 1951 Stanley Cup Champion as a member of the Maple Leafs, Bruins captain from 1955-1961, and member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Fernie Flaman.  After his playing days ended, Flaman went on to a long and accomplished career as the head coach of the Northeastern University Huskies, guiding the team to four Beanpot Championships, and the 1988 Hockey East Championship, and in 1982 received the prestigious Spencer Primrose Award, honoring him as that year's top coach in NCAA Division 1 men's hockey.
