New reproduction cloth helmet cover for use with the German M16, M17, or M18 helmet. I believe these are the most accurate, high-quality reproduction German M16 helmet covers available on the market today. Made of high-quality heavy linen with six hooks that fasten along the brim of the helmet, and leather-reinforced disks that fit over the lug vents.

This cover is a copy of an original example. They are manufactured to such strict standards and with such attention to detail that they are not only perfect for completing restored helmets but also work excellently with original helmets. The heavy linen material is hand-woven on a wooden loom using early 20th-century technology. Only natural materials are used, including cotton and flax linen threads as well as genuine leather. The cover features a military acceptance stamp, “B.A. XIII,” which stands for Bekleidungs-Amt (Clothing Office), 13th Army Corps, Württemberg area, headquartered in Stuttgart.
