The SEKA Spear RDC Disc Brake Road Frameset is a purpose-built aero frameset made for riders who need pure speed. Designed through extensive wind tunnel testing, this ultralight frame slices through the air with precision. The unique “Wind Eye” seat-stay opening smooths airflow around the rear wheel and adds seatpost flex which reduces road buzz. Its one-piece molded carbon frame, BSA threaded bottom bracket and optional Rapier integrated handlebar form a stiff and responsive race-ready platform. The Spear RDC features fully internal cable routing, 32 mm tire clearance and a refined aerodynamic profile tested by Aerocoach at Silverstone, UK. After analyzing over 280,000 data points, Aerocoach confirmed measurable drag reductions compared to the SEKA Exceed frame. SEKA relies on verified performance data, not marketing hype.
Built using a TeXtreme carbon layup reinforced with Mitsubishi PITCH 65T and PITCH 80 fibers, the Spear RDC delivers stiffness, low weight and real-world comfort. It’s 35 grams lighter than the standard Spear while maintaining incredible strength. Each frame goes through fatigue, impact and load testing to simulate years of riding. SEKA meets or exceeds ASTM F2802 and EN ISO 4210 standards and backs the Spear RDC Frame with a lifetime warranty. They also offer a five-year warranty on other carbon components.
The frame includes flat mount disc brakes and a BSA threaded bottom bracket shell. It works with mechanical, wireless and Di2 drivetrains. Compatibility
The SEKA Spear RDC is widely compatible with most modern road components. It is compatible with wheelsets that are disc brake and use 12×100 mm front and 12×142 mm rear thru axles. This frameset uses a BSA threaded bottom bracket shell, and uses a conventional derailleur hanger or direct mount hanger.
Considerations
The SEKA Spear RDC Disc Brake Road Frameset offers impressive performance, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The fully-internal cable routing is optimized for SEKA’s own one-piece handlebars. This means using your own barstem is not as seamless. The geometry of the Spear is optimized for performance and speed. This does make the Spear RDC less ideal as an endurance bike.

Compatibility
- Groupsets: This frameset is compatible with mechanical, wireless and Di2 groupsets.
- Tires: The maximum tire width for this frameset is 32 mm. Most 700 x 32c tires are 32 mm wide, but not all.
- Brake Rotors: The maximum rotor size for this frameset is 160 mm for the front and 160 mm for the rear.
- Wheelset: Compatible with 12x100 mm front and 12x142 mm rear thru axles wheelsets.
- Saddle Rail: The Spear Seatpost is compatible with both 7 x 7 mm standard rails and 7 x 9 mm carbon rails. In addition it supports 7 x 10 mm and 7 x 11 mm rails.
- Stem: As this frame uses fully-internal cable routing, we recommend using SEKA's Rapier One-Piece Handlebar for seamless integration. Using your own stem or barstem on this frame is technically possible, but might have some fitment issues with the spacers.
