Antique Tin Box Mackintosh's Quality Street Chocolates & Toffees Made In England

This lovely and rare round tin box comes with a lid, decorated with a classic scene of a British soldier in uniform being offered sweets by a young lady in Victorian clothing. The tin also features images of an expensive shopping street, including a boy with a hoop and a horse and carriage. The lady and soldier depicted are characters from the play "Quality Street" by J.M. Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, which inspired the Mackintosh brand to name their chocolate toffees after the play. This decorative and collectible box is perfect for vintage storage or as a special piece for collectors. Please check the pictures for more details.
