The recipient Sven was the son of a friend who used to babysit JK Rowling's eldest daughter Jessica in Edinburgh. The author uses her more familiar form 'Jo', indicating closeness to the recipient of the book. Indeed, JK Rowling has known Sven since he was eight years old and he was one of the very first people to hear the Harry Potter stories. Full provenance can be supplied.
