'And All For What?' Some War Time Experiences By D W J Cuddeford. Published by Heath Cranton Ltd. 1933, 1st edn.
Please see the pictures for the outside of the book. There is a mild fading to the top inch of the front and rear boards. The inside is clean and tight with mild foxing to the front and end papers only.
Lengel says...'Cuddeford enrolled in the Nigerian Land Contingent in 1914, then sailed to England and joined the 3rd
Battalion, Scots Guards, in early 1915. In January 1916 he was commissioned in the 12th Highland Light Infantry and saw service on the Somme and at Arras before being seconded to the King's African Rifles in July 1917 for service in East Africa'.
A hard book to find.
