This is a unique  and rare group of five antique French filet lace samples, each hand‑darned with a different medieval motif, including griffin, knight, horse, bird, and a lady panel. These were likely made as atelier study samples or pattern references in the late 19th to early 20th century. One piece still retains its original “Au Printemps – Paris” paper label, a rare survivor that adds charm and provenance.
All five squares measure approximately 6 inches and display fine, even handwork. Beautiful for collectors, textile study, framing, or inspiration for needleworkers. Strong antique condition with light age tone only. No major issues. Each approx. 6" square. Photos are part of my description. Please take a look at my pictures, and thank you for checking my auctions.
Most of the items I offer are purchased at estate or auctions and are used I do research it to the best of my ability. The vintage and antique items are sold "AS IS " recognizing they will never be new. Please be aware that most of the linens and textiles that I sell are old, have been pre-owned and used
